FedEx delivered late.
Is the charge refundable?

Start with the service on your invoice. A missed delivery commitment can be worth checking, but FedEx’s money-back guarantee does not cover every shipment.

The short answer

Match the billed service and ship date to FedEx’s current US money-back guarantee. Check the promised delivery time, actual delivery and exclusions, then request a billing review through FedEx’s official support route. Keep the case number and verify any credit on your account.

Read the service name before requesting a refund.

FedEx’s current US policy lists specific domestic overnight services, FedEx 2Day A.M. and selected international services as covered. It says the guarantee for other services remains suspended. A Ground delivery or a different two-day product does not become eligible because another service is listed.

Match the exact product on your invoice to the policy for the shipment’s date and payer. International lanes, contract services and temporary changes can affect the answer. Use the current status page alongside the terms in the FedEx Service Guide.

Compare the commitment with the delivery record.

Keep the tracking number, ship date, billed service, delivery address, promised delivery date and time, actual delivery scan and invoice number together. A late arrival compared with your own expectation is different from missing the carrier’s applicable commitment.

FedEx publishes temporary delivery-time changes and exclusions. Its current policy specifically excludes delays due to regulatory changes. Check the full conditions and request deadline for your shipment before deciding it qualifies.

Ask for the guarantee review with the evidence attached.

Use FedEx’s official customer support route for your billing account. Ask how to submit a money-back-guarantee adjustment for the specific shipment and which deadline applies. If a reseller or shipping platform billed you, check which party must make the request.

Do not use a lost-or-damaged-goods claim as a substitute for a late-delivery billing request. Keep the tracking and billing records available, and ask for a written eligibility decision if the request is declined.

Please review money-back-guarantee eligibility for tracking [number], shipped [date] using [billed service]. The applicable delivery commitment was [date/time], and tracking records delivery at [date/time]. Invoice [number] shows a transportation charge of [amount]. Please confirm the submission route, deadline, any exclusion relied on and the credit if approved.

Keep the request open until the account shows the result.

Save the submission date, case number, requested amount and the next response date. If support asks for another document, reply in the same case so the evidence stays together.

An acknowledgment is not money back. Match an approved adjustment to the later invoice, account credit or refund record. If the request is denied, retain the reason and compare it with the applicable terms before asking for another review.

We find the charge.

Huck finds renewals, price increases, duplicate payments and refunds owed in your Gmail, with a dollar figure on each finding.

Review the proposed change. Cancellations, downgrades and refund requests need your yes each time.

03

We do the chasing.

Huck cancels, requests the refund or works the vendor’s chat, then follows up until the request is settled. Huck checks your bill for the lower charge, credit or refund and texts you the result.

A few things
before you act.

Does every late FedEx package qualify?

No. The current US policy covers listed services only, with conditions and exclusions. Check the exact product, shipment date and applicable commitment.

Is FedEx Ground included in the current list?

The reviewed US status page does not list ordinary FedEx Ground among the covered services and says other services remain suspended. Recheck the policy for your shipment.

Can Huck guarantee a refund?

No. Huck finds supported refund opportunities from your email and pursues approved requests. FedEx’s terms determine eligibility, and a credit or refund must actually appear before it counts as recovered.

Huck is independent of FedEx. This guide explains a billing review, not a universal entitlement. The evidence checklist and message are original editorial examples. No direct FedEx integration or completed claim is implied.
