Atlassian raised Cloud list prices on October 13, 2026 PT for Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Management, Teamwork Collection, Atlassian Guard, Bitbucket Premium and Jira Product Discovery. Monthly bills on or after that date use the new price, and annual plans pay it at their next renewal. Jira Standard went from $9.05 to $9.70 per user a month for up to 100 users. To pay less, deactivate users who don’t need access before the next billing cycle, drop Premium to Standard, or move to annual billing.

Atlassian’s published list prices in US dollars, before and after October 13, 2026. Monthly prices are per user for the first 100 users; annual prices are for a 10-user tier. Your bill can differ with taxes, discounts, Marketplace apps and other tiers.
| Plan | Monthly per user, before | Monthly per user, after | 10 users a year, before | 10 users a year, after |
|---|---|---|---|---|

Five ways Atlassian says you can pay less.
Atlassian counts a user toward billing once they have product access. A user has to be deactivated, deleted or removed from a synced directory to stop counting.
- Count billable users. From your Cloud site, select Settings, then Billing, then Manage Subscriptions. Each product shows its billable users.
- Deactivate users who don’t need access. On monthly billing, this lowers the next bill. Atlassian bills monthly plans on the most seats assigned during the cycle, so removing someone mid-cycle lowers the next cycle, not the current one.
- Check whether the Free plan fits. Atlassian’s Free plan is for teams of up to 10 users and/or 3 agents, with 2 GB of storage and community support.
- Drop Premium to Standard. For Jira, Jira Service Management or Confluence, go to Manage Subscriptions in your Cloud site.
- Look at annual billing or an early renewal. Atlassian says annual billing may give up to 2 months free, depending on the number of users. Annual customers get a renewal quote 90 days before expiry and can renew inside that 90-day window. On an annual plan, deactivate inactive users and contact Atlassian at renewal to move to a lower user tier.
Atlassian’s offer to lock in old prices by requesting an annual quote ended on October 13, 2026, and those quotes can’t be extended past November 11, 2026.
Atlassian: how can I reduce my bill? ↗Each cut has a cost. Check it first.
Deactivated users lose access to the product. The Free plan limits you to 10 users, 2 GB of storage and community support. Dropping to Standard removes Premium features your team may use, so ask whoever runs Jira or Confluence what depends on them.
Annual billing locks your user tier: Atlassian says annual user tiers can’t be changed mid-term, and adding seats needs a prorated upgrade quote. Moving from annual back to monthly is only possible within 30 days of the annual term’s end. Removing a product or app takes effect right away, deletes its data after you confirm, and Atlassian gives no credit or refund for removing it early.
Atlassian: Cloud licensing and billing FAQ ↗Refund windows are short.
Atlassian offers refunds on Cloud subscriptions only within the first paid month after a trial for monthly plans, and within 30 days of payment for annual plans. After that, it says refunds can’t be offered. If an annual renewal just went through at the new price and you meant to change tiers, act inside those 30 days.
Our annual [product] renewal was charged on [date] for [amount], order [reference]. We need [fewer users / the Standard plan] for this term. Please confirm whether we can change the order within your 30-day refund window, and the corrected amount.Atlassian: return policy ↗
Huck finds the Atlassian bill and asks with your yes.
Huck finds Atlassian renewal quotes, invoices and price notices in your Gmail and texts you the amount, the increase and the date it applies. It compares your plan with Atlassian’s published prices and names the source.
When you say yes, Huck asks Atlassian for the lower tier or plan by email or in the portal, then checks the next bill to confirm the lower charge. Your site admin deactivates users inside Atlassian; Huck doesn’t change who has access.
