Policies depend on the product, purchase channel, location and contract. This reference covers Adobe’s published US individual-subscription terms and Slack’s website-purchased plans paid by card or self-serve invoicing. It does not establish the terms of your own agreement.

Two policies. Different outcomes.
Sources checked October 19, 2026. Open the vendor’s current terms and account summary before acting. A monthly charge may belong to an annual commitment.
| Vendor and scope | Published rule | What to verify |
|---|---|---|
| Adobe · US individual subscriptions | Annual paid-monthly plans: after 14 days, the published early cancellation fee is half the remaining contract balance. Annual prepaid cancellation does not return the unused annual balance after the refund window. | Plan type, initial order date, remaining commitment and the account’s actual cancellation quote. Teams, reseller purchases and other locations need their own terms. |
| Slack · plans bought on its website and paid by card or self-serve invoicing | Eligible inactive or deactivated members can generate prorated account credits toward future charges. These credits are non-refundable, non-transferable and expire when the paid plan ends. | Purchase route, member status and the credit shown on the billing statement. A Slack account credit is not a cash refund. |
Do not invent a universal notice period.
Neither row establishes a general 30-day notice requirement for business software. Read the notice clause in your own agreement: calendar or business days, the required delivery route, receipt versus sending, cutoff time and time zone.
Record the source of the date, not just the date itself. The calculator supports calendar-day arithmetic; it does not interpret contract language.
Keep request, confirmation and money separate.
Save the cancellation request, the vendor’s effective end date and the next relevant bill. For a credit, retain the credit notice and the later statement showing it applied. A receipt for a request is not proof that renewal stopped.
We find the money.
We do the chasing.
Huck finds the money slipping out of your business, shows you what each charge is worth, and does the chasing when you say so. Cancellations, refund requests and vendor negotiations follow through to a result you can check.

Huck finds renewals, price increases, duplicate payments and refunds owed in your Gmail, with a dollar figure on each finding.
You decide.
Review the proposed change. Cancellations, downgrades and refund requests need your yes each time.
We do the chasing.
Huck cancels, requests the refund or works the vendor’s chat, then follows up until the request is settled. Huck checks your bill for the lower charge, credit or refund and texts you the result.
A few things
before you act.
Does paying monthly mean I can cancel without a fee?
Not necessarily. An annual commitment can be billed monthly. Check the commitment and the current account quote.
Is a Slack credit a refund?
The cited policy describes account credits for future charges. It says those credits are non-refundable; do not count them as cash received.
