Lower software costs.
Keep what works.

Find recurring software costs worth reviewing, choose the right tool for the job, and verify each approved change on a later bill.

Connect Gmail to get started. You approve each money action.

The short answer

Start with an inventory of subscriptions, billed seats, owners and renewal deadlines. Compare actual needs with paid plans, then cancel, reduce quantity or request a better offer where the agreement allows. Use transaction tools for spend controls, SaaS management for application usage, or an email-based assistant for billing discoveries and approved follow-through.

Start with what you pay and what you need.

Collect recent invoices, renewal emails and your payment records. Record the plan, total, billed quantity, owner, commitment end and cancellation notice deadline. Email alone will miss costs that never generate a message in the connected inbox.

Ask the owner of each tool which features and seats still matter. A last-login date is a review signal, not proof that a license can safely be removed.

These approaches solve different parts of the work. Start with the gap you actually have; none of them establishes a guaranteed saving.

Ways to find and reduce business software costs
Approach / exampleUseful whenWhat to verify
Manual invoice and renewal reviewA small list of vendors has known ownersSomeone must maintain the record and pursue changes.
Spend management / RampYou need transaction visibility and purchase controlsCovered cards, current plan features and how non-card spending is handled.
SaaS management / ToriiYou need application discovery and license-level usageSupported integrations, permissions, setup and commercial fit.
Email-based assistant / HuckBilling notices are in Gmail and you want approved follow-throughInbox coverage, supported vendor route and confirmation of the final bill.

Review quantity, plan and commitment together.

Check seats nobody needs, two tools supporting the same job, add-ons no longer required and tiers above current needs. Preserve files and integrations before removing access.

Compare monthly and annual options over the same period. A lower monthly equivalent may require a longer commitment or remove a discount. Get the total and effective date in writing.

A seat credit is not always a cash saving.

Slack says its Fair Billing Policy applies to website-purchased plans paid by card or self-serve invoicing. Inactive members can generate prorated account credits. Those credits are non-refundable; check the plan and later statement before treating a user change as money returned.

This example explains a vendor rule. It does not establish a result achieved by Huck, and it should not be generalized to another vendor or a negotiated contract.

Keep proposed, requested and verified amounts separate.

Keep the approval, vendor confirmation and first affected bill together. Record recurring reductions separately from one-time credits. Do not count a refund request, an unused seat or the face value of an invoice as a completed saving.

Huck can find subscription issues in connected Gmail and pursue supported cancellations, downgrades and vendor-chat negotiations with approval. It does not replace accounting software, pay bills or provide a usage feed for every application. No minimum saving is promised.

We find the money.
We do the chasing.

Huck finds the money slipping out of your business, shows you what each charge is worth, and does the chasing when you say so. Cancellations, refund requests and vendor negotiations follow through to a result you can check.

01

We find the charge.

Huck finds renewals, price increases, duplicate payments and refunds owed in your Gmail, with a dollar figure on each finding.

02

You decide.

Review the proposed change. Cancellations, downgrades and refund requests need your yes each time.

03

We do the chasing.

Huck cancels, requests the refund or works the vendor’s chat, then follows up until the request is settled. Huck checks your bill for the lower charge, credit or refund and texts you the result.

A few things
before you act.

What is the best software-cost tool for a small business?

Choose by the missing information and the work required. Transaction controls, license usage and email-based follow-through are different needs. The comparison above is an editorial selection, not a tested ranking.

Can I do this without switching business cards?

You can review invoices and renewal emails with your existing payment setup. Huck starts from Gmail without a bank login, but cannot see every charge without an email trail.

How much will my business save?

That is unknown until your costs, needs and contracts are reviewed and the resulting changes appear on later bills. We do not have approved customer savings results to quote.
