Looking for a
Cledara alternative?

Look for a Cledara alternative if you run a small business without a finance team, don’t want to move your software payments onto new virtual cards, or want the cancelling and the vendor chat done for you. Stay with Cledara if a finance team of yours wants one place to buy, pay, approve and reconcile software.

The short answer

Cledara is software subscription management built for finance and IT teams, with plans listed for companies of about 25 staff and up. It sees your software spend by paying for it through Cledara virtual cards. Huck works from your Gmail instead, finds the renewals, duplicates and price increases there, and does the cancelling or vendor chat with your yes each time.

Who should stay with Cledara.

Stay if you have a finance team that wants software bought, paid, approved and reconciled in one place. Cledara pays through its own cards, captures invoices and syncs with Xero, QuickBooks and, on Premium, NetSuite. Huck does none of that.

Stay if your IT team uses Cledara for onboarding and offboarding, shadow IT or vendor compliance checks. Those are Cledara add-ons with no Huck equivalent.

Stay if you need seat-level usage data. Cledara’s Spend Optimization add-on lists seat utilization insights. Huck works from email, not app logins.

Who should look elsewhere.

You run the business yourself. Cledara assumes a finance or IT person will review the list and act on it. If that person is you, a tool that does the follow-up matters more than a better view.

You don’t want to change how you pay. Cledara’s free Basic plan depends on paying for 10 applications with its virtual cards in your first month. Huck needs no cards and no bank login, only your Gmail.

You want the cancelling done. Cledara lets you cancel. Huck sends the cancellation, works the retention chat and checks the next bill, with your yes each time.

Other alternatives: Ramp if you want corporate cards and expense management with software insights; Torii, Zluri or Zylo if an IT team needs license usage across many apps. The full comparison covers all of them.

What Huck does, and what it doesn’t.

Huck reads a business’s email for the money it’s losing, puts a dollar figure on each finding, follows through on the fix with the owner’s permission, and texts back what happened and where to check it. Anything that moves money always asks. A saving counts only when a later bill shows it.

Huck works from connected Gmail, so a charge with no email behind it is invisible to it. Huck doesn’t pay bills, read app logins, connect to your bank, cards or accounting software, or negotiate by phone. Huck has no published customer savings results yet.

We find the money.
We do the chasing.

Huck finds the money slipping out of your business, shows you what each charge is worth, and does the chasing when you say so. Cancellations, refund requests and vendor negotiations follow through to a result you can check.

What is a good Cledara alternative for a small business?

If you have no finance team, look for a tool that does the follow-up, not only the tracking. Huck works from your Gmail and cancels or negotiates with your yes. If you want cards and expense management, Ramp. If IT needs license usage, Torii, Zluri or Zylo.

How much does Cledara cost?

Cledara’s pricing page, read October 24, 2026, says Basic is free if you pay for 10 applications with its virtual cards in your first month, and otherwise £100 a month. It doesn’t publish Premium or Pro prices. Its Spend Optimization add-on is £150 a month.

Does Huck replace Cledara’s card payments and accounting sync?

No. Huck doesn’t pay bills or connect to accounting software. If you need those, stay with Cledara or a card tool.

Can I use both?

Yes. Some teams may keep Cledara for payments and approvals and use Huck for the renewals, refunds and vendor follow-up that land in email. Map who approves what before you connect both.
