QuickBooks went up.
Check the bill.
Compare the old bill, new bill and plan before accepting a higher QuickBooks charge or moving to a lower tier. A cheaper headline price can hide a lost discount.
Connect Gmail to get started. You approve each money action.
Match your QuickBooks plan and billing period across two invoices. Ask what caused the difference, then compare the actual price and features of an available lower plan. Intuit says changing a plan removes current discounts, so review the account’s final price before confirming.

Compare the same service period.
Put the prior and current invoice side by side. Record the base subscription, payroll or other add-ons, tax, billing frequency and discounts. Check whether more than one product changed.
A difference could reflect a changed plan, promotion, add-on or other billing adjustment. Use the invoice and renewal notice to establish the explanation instead of assuming a company-wide increase. If the reason is unclear, send both invoice dates and ask billing to identify each changed line.
Check what the business needs before downgrading.
List the features your team actually relies on: users, recurring transactions, inventory, classes or other reporting. Compare those needs with the plan available in your own account. A lower price is not useful if it removes a workflow the business needs.
Intuit’s plan-change guidance says changing your plan removes current discounts. It also describes usage and feature limits that may need resolving first. Compare the final offered price, not an advertised introductory rate.
Intuit’s plan-change guidance ↗Use the right billing route.
For a direct Intuit purchase, its guide directs the primary user or company admin to Settings → Subscriptions and billing, then Downgrade your plan. Review the available plans and complete the account’s steps only after the price and feature tradeoff are clear.
For an original Apple App Store or Google Play purchase, Intuit directs customers to manage the subscription through the device’s store route. Enterprise and accountant-managed arrangements can need a different contact.
Intuit’s subscription instructions ↗Make one specific request.
Ask for the reason the price changed, the lowest available plan that keeps your required features and the total price after discounts and add-ons. Keep any offer in writing. Do not count a quoted reduction as a saving until a later bill reflects it.
My invoice changed from [old amount] for [period] to [new amount] for [period]. Please explain each changed line and quote the lowest available plan that retains [required features], including any loss of current discounts and the effective date.

We do the chasing.
Huck finds the money slipping out of your business, shows you what each charge is worth, and does the chasing when you say so. Cancellations, refund requests and vendor negotiations follow through to a result you can check.

Huck finds renewals, price increases, duplicate payments and refunds owed in your Gmail, with a dollar figure on each finding.
You decide.
Review the proposed change. Cancellations, downgrades and refund requests need your yes each time.
We do the chasing.
Huck cancels, requests the refund or works the vendor’s chat, then follows up until the request is settled. Huck checks your bill for the lower charge, credit or refund and texts you the result.
A few things
before you act.
Is this page announcing a new QuickBooks price increase?
No. It is a workflow for checking an increase on your own bill. Your invoices and current account offer establish the amounts.
Can a downgrade remove my discount?
Yes. Intuit’s published guidance says changing a plan removes current discounts. Check the final account offer before confirming.
Does Huck replace QuickBooks?
No. Huck finds charges and possible fixes in email and follows through with permission. Keep your accounting system and bookkeeping process.
