Cancel Constant Contact.
Skip the call if you can.

The short answer

Sometimes. Constant Contact’s terms let you cancel by calling customer support or by cancelling through your account. Its Billing FAQ says some accounts don’t get the online option because of their plan type or account status. If you don’t see it, call Billing at 855-229-5506 (US and Canada) or email social_support@constantcontact.com from the account’s main or billing email with your username. Do it before your next billing date. Prepayments are not refunded.

Look for the online option first.

Constant Contact’s terms, updated September 4, 2026, say you can cancel by calling customer support or by cancelling through your account. Its Billing FAQ, revised April 7, 2026, says some accounts don’t have the online option because of their account status or plan type. Constant Contact’s own help article on cancelling, updated June 18, 2026, lists only the phone route, so expect that the online option may not be there.

  1. Sign in as the account owner. Constant Contact says only the owner can access and manage the account’s full billing details.
  2. Open Account Settings, then the Billing tab. This is where your invoices, payment plan and billing details live.
  3. Look for a cancel option and follow every prompt. If it is there, finish each screen. Constant Contact sends a confirmation email to the account’s main email address.
  4. No cancel option? Email instead of calling. Email social_support@constantcontact.com from the account’s main or billing email, with your account username and a request to cancel before your next billing date. Constant Contact says it will help from there, which can mean booking a call back from Billing.
  5. Keep the confirmation. Save the email that confirms the cancellation and the date it takes effect.

If you would rather call: Billing is at 855-229-5506 (US and Canada), 0808 234 0945 (UK) or +1 781-472-8120 (elsewhere). Have the account username and your reason for cancelling ready.

Constant Contact Billing FAQ: how do I cancel my account? ↗

Export first. Access ends on your billing date.

Constant Contact cancels the account on your next billing date, and you can keep using it until then. After that you lose access to your contacts, campaigns and reports. Hosted images and documents go offline, add-ons are cancelled, automations stop, integrations disconnect, and sign-up forms still accept sign-ups but the new contacts are not saved.

Constant Contact says it can only guarantee to keep your account and data for 30 days. Export your Unsubscribed list and keep it with your next email provider: unsubscribe requests never expire, so those people must not be emailed again unless they opt back in.

Don’t expect money back for the current month or a prepayment.

Constant Contact’s terms say it does not refund prepaid fees or unused subscription fees, and that you pay what is due through the end of your current term. Its help article says prepayments are non-refundable even if you cancel before the end of your billing term, and the Billing FAQ says prepayment credits are surrendered when you cancel.

If you prepaid for 6 or 12 months, Constant Contact says prepayments renew like monthly plans. Change the payment plan in your account before the next 6 or 12 month charge if you don’t want another one.

Pausing keeps your data for a lower fee.

If you might come back, Constant Contact offers to pause the account for a low monthly fee instead, which keeps your contacts, campaigns and reports. You can also downgrade to a smaller plan. Pausing only makes sense if you expect to come back.

Huck catches the billing date and takes the no-call route.

Huck finds Constant Contact invoices in your Gmail and texts you the monthly cost and the next billing date, so the cancellation lands before the next charge.

When you say yes, Huck cancels in Constant Contact’s portal where your account offers it, or emails Constant Contact’s support from your Gmail if that is the account’s main or billing address. Then it checks the next invoice. Huck doesn’t call Billing; if Constant Contact insists on a call, you make it. Constant Contact decides any refund.

We find the money.
We do the chasing.

Huck finds the money slipping out of your business, shows you what each charge is worth, and does the chasing when you say so. Cancellations, refund requests and vendor negotiations follow through to a result you can check.
