One login can have more than one paid Workspace.

Match the receipt to the Workspace, plan, billing interval, renewal date and itemized add-ons. ClickUp’s pricing help says each Workspace is upgraded individually; canceling one does not establish that another Workspace or charge has stopped.

Only Workspace owners or admins can manage billing or discuss it with support. If you have a billing contract, ClickUp directs questions to the account team; otherwise use support. Keep that seller and contract distinction when confirming the end date.

Confirm the downgrade before the billing cycle ends.

ClickUp allows a downgrade during the billing cycle, with the new plan taking effect at its end. It says Workspace data remains and can be accessed if you upgrade again. That does not mean every paid feature remains usable on the lower plan.

Have the owner review the plan comparison and any workflows that depend on paid features. Preserve business records and check the displayed effective date before confirming. Deleting a user account or removing members is not a substitute for changing the purchased plan.

1. Open Workspace Settings. Use the Workspace avatar in the upper-left corner, then Settings.
2. Select Billing. Choose Downgrade or Change plan for the intended Workspace.
3. Choose Cancel plan. Complete the live confirmation and keep the new plan and end-of-cycle date.

Plan packaging changes do not make every extra disappear.

ClickUp says add-ons are independent of the plan and require manual management. On plans that still sell separate Brain AI, open Workspace Settings → Plans → Add-ons, locate the relevant bundle or customization and use Cancel, then Yes, cancel add-on. Owners and admins can cancel add-on auto-renewal while retaining its paid features to the end of the cycle.

The published controls for standalone AI Notetaker and Talk to Text also appear on the Add-ons page. Other items, including automation actions and ClickUp Assist, have their own billing details. Reconcile the actual invoice and ask support to confirm any item whose cancellation control is unclear.

ClickUp is moving Workspaces to new packaging where some AI is included rather than sold as a separate add-on, while AI Credits can still be purchased. Check your own plan and Upcoming Bill notice; do not cancel a needed base plan merely because an older tutorial shows a separate AI add-on.

The 30-day guarantee applies to the first paid subscription.

ClickUp’s current pricing help describes a 30-day satisfaction guarantee for the first paid plan subscription, including add-ons purchased with that subscription. Request the refund within 30 days of that purchase.

For later upgrades or other charges, the same article directs you to support to confirm eligibility. Do not apply the first-purchase guarantee to every renewal, extra purchase or contract. Include the Workspace, invoice and purchase date, and retain the decision and any refund reference.
