How do I cancel
Nextdoor Ads?
Nextdoor sells business ads two ways, and each one stops differently: Pay as You Go campaigns pause, monthly Business Page ads cancel and run out the month. Huck finds your Nextdoor receipts in Gmail, tells you which kind you pay for and when the next charge lands, and stops it when you say yes.
Connect Gmail to get started. You approve each money action.
To cancel Nextdoor Ads, first check which kind you pay for. A monthly Business Page ad subscription cancels from your Business Page dashboard: click the three dots on the campaign, then Edit, then Cancel Subscription, and the ad keeps running to the end of the current monthly billing cycle with no further charge. Pay as You Go campaigns, in Ads Manager or on your Business Page, have no cancel button; you pause them with the Status toggle or the Pause campaign option, which Nextdoor says effectively cancels them. Ads can run for up to 24 hours after a pause, and any balance already run up is still charged at the start of the next month. Nextdoor says payments for its business services are non-refundable.

A monthly Business Page ad cancels from the dashboard.
Nextdoor says you can’t pause a Business Page ad on a monthly subscription; you cancel it instead. The ad keeps running until the end of your current monthly billing cycle, and you are not charged again. To stop it immediately, Nextdoor says to contact its support team.
This guide covers Nextdoor’s paid services for businesses. A personal Nextdoor account costs nothing and has nothing to cancel.
- Sign in to your Business Page on nextdoor.com. Open the Dashboard, where your ad campaigns are listed.
- Click the three dots on the campaign row. Then click Edit.
- Click Cancel Subscription. Confirm it. Nextdoor’s older subscription terms describe the same thing as Cancel plan under the Your plan tab in Ad Settings.
- Note the end of the billing cycle. The ad runs until then. Nextdoor charges a monthly subscription upfront on the day the ad is approved, then on the same date each month.

| What to know | What Nextdoor says |
|---|---|
| Monthly Business Page ad | Cancel from the Dashboard: three dots, Edit, Cancel Subscription. Runs to the end of the monthly billing cycle. |
| Pay as You Go campaign | No cancel option. Pause it with the Status toggle in Ads Manager or Pause campaign on your Business Page. |
| After a pause | Ads may run for up to 24 hours, and that spend is billed. Any remaining balance is charged at the start of the next month. |
| Monthly charge | Daily budget times 30, charged upfront when the ad is approved and then on the same date each month. |
| Refunds | Payments for Nextdoor business services, including ads and Opportunity Alerts, are non-refundable. |
| Opportunity Alerts | A separate subscription from ads. Cancel it under Settings, Opportunity Alerts. Stays active to the end of the billing period. |
| Business Page | Free to have, and generally not removed. Deactivating the Business Page does not cancel ads you bought. |
Pay as You Go campaigns pause instead of cancel.
Nextdoor says there’s no option to cancel a Pay as You Go campaign, but you can pause it to effectively cancel it. Turning off a campaign only stops that campaign, so pause each one. Under Nextdoor’s Self-Service Terms, ads may keep running for up to 24 hours after you pause, and you pay for that delivery. Paused campaigns can be deleted.
Pay as You Go accounts are charged each time spend reaches a billing threshold, which starts at $10 for a new account, and on the first of the month for any balance. Nextdoor says that if your campaigns are paused, any remaining balance is billed at the start of the next month.
- In Ads Manager, open the ad account. Pick it from the profile menu at the top right.
- Go to the Campaigns, Ad Groups or Ads tab. Find the campaign you want to stop.
- Toggle the Status switch to off. Off means paused. Repeat for every active campaign.
- On a Business Page with Pay as You Go ads, use the Ads tab. Click the three dots on the right of the campaign and select Pause campaign.

Opportunity Alerts is a second bill to cancel.
Opportunity Alerts is a paid subscription for home service businesses that notifies you when neighbors ask for a service like yours. Nextdoor says it is a separate subscription from advertising and each product is bought on its own, so stopping your ads leaves it running.
When you cancel, Nextdoor says the subscription stays active through the end of your current billing period.
- On the web, go to Settings. Choose Opportunity Alerts, then Cancel your Opportunity Alerts.
- In the app, tap your profile photo. Then Settings, then Opportunity Alerts, and follow the cancel prompt.
Hiding the Business Page does not end the ads.
Nextdoor’s Business Services Terms say deactivating your Business Page does not terminate or cancel any ad services you bought. Nextdoor also says Business Pages are generally not removed, and the page itself costs nothing, so there is no reason to delete it to save money.
Deleting the whole business account is a bigger step. Nextdoor’s help article says any active ads on the account are canceled when you do it, and you may see a charge for the outstanding balance around the first of the month. The path is your business profile, Settings, Account Settings, Deactivate your account. Cancel or pause the ads first so you know what the last charge will be.
Nextdoor: deactivate or delete your business account ↗You lose reach, not your page or reviews.
Once the ads stop, neighbors no longer see your sponsored posts, and if you cancel Opportunity Alerts you stop getting the real-time lead notifications. Your free Business Page, its recommendations and reviews stay up, because Nextdoor generally doesn’t remove Business Pages.
Money already paid stays paid. Nextdoor’s terms say payments to Nextdoor are final, non-cancelable and non-refundable, so a cancelled monthly ad is worth running to the end of the cycle you paid for.
Nextdoor: refund requests ↗Huck tracks the ad charges and stops the next one.
Huck finds Nextdoor ad receipts and Opportunity Alerts charges in your Gmail and texts you what each costs a month and when it bills next, so a forgotten campaign doesn’t keep charging.
With your yes each time, Huck cancels the monthly subscription or pauses each Pay as You Go campaign in your Nextdoor account while you handle the sign-in, then checks the next receipts for leftover spend. Nextdoor decides any credit; Huck does not promise one.

We do the chasing.
Huck finds the money slipping out of your business, shows you what each charge is worth, and does the chasing when you say so. Cancellations, refund requests and vendor negotiations follow through to a result you can check.

Huck cancels, requests the refund or works the vendor’s chat, then follows up until the request is settled. Huck checks your bill for the lower charge, credit or refund and texts you the result.
