Before canceling a legacy Canva Teams plan, note that Canva says you cannot subscribe to that plan again. For a Canva-managed subscription, use the right account and team: Settings → Billing → Cancel plan, then finish through Cancel subscription. Apple and Google Play purchases use their app store. Save the confirmation and paid-through date.

Match the receipt to the account and team.
Search your billing email for Canva and match the amount, plan, account email and team. Canva says cancellation problems can come from being in the wrong account or workspace. A second account can keep billing after you cancel the first.
Identify whether Canva, Apple or Google handles the subscription. Removing the mobile app or replacing the payment card does not establish that renewal has stopped.

Canva says paid access lasts through the current billing period. After cancellation, the account remains active on the free plan. Review which paid features your business relies on before that date.
For Teams or Business, members lose paid features at the end of the period. Canva says designs, Brand Kit content and shared folders are retained on the free plan. It also says a canceled Canva Teams plan cannot be subscribed to again. Review the current options before ending a legacy Teams plan.

For a subscription managed directly by Canva, use the account and team identified on the receipt.
- Open billing. From your account profile, select Settings, then Billing.
- Select the plan. Choose Cancel plan, then Continue cancellation.
- Complete the prompts. Choose the reason, continue and select Cancel subscription to finish.
- Keep proof. Save the cancellation email and the paid-through date shown for the plan.
For an App Store subscription, use Apple’s subscription settings. For Google Play, use Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. Canva’s official guide includes both routes.

Compare the charge with the account, biller and cancellation date. If it belongs to another account, another team or an app-store subscription, follow that provider’s route. If it appears to contradict the confirmed cancellation, send billing the invoice and confirmation together.
Cancellation stops future renewal. It does not by itself approve a refund of a prior charge. Ask billing to review the specific transaction rather than treating every remaining charge as refundable.

Can I cancel by deleting the Canva app?
No. Cancel the subscription through its billing provider and keep the confirmation.
What if I cannot find Cancel plan?
Check that you are in the account and team that owns the paid subscription. Apple and Google Play purchases use the app store’s cancellation route.
Is canceling the same as pausing?
No. Canva says a paused plan resumes automatically. If the goal is to stop renewal, confirm you completed cancellation rather than choosing a temporary pause.
