Before turning off the next charge, check whether Grammarly is a standalone purchase or part of a Superhuman subscription your business still uses.
Connect Gmail to get started. You approve each money action.
Sign in to the paid Grammarly account, open Account → Your account → Subscription, and complete Cancel Subscription through the final confirmation. Paid features remain for the current subscription period. If the account is associated with Superhuman, Grammarly warns that cancellation applies across the other apps in that suite. Apple purchases use Apple’s cancellation route.

Match the charge to the paid account.
Compare the receipt’s account email and seller with the Grammarly account you have opened. A free account will not show the controls for a different paid account.
If you use Superhuman, check the subscription’s scope before proceeding. Grammarly says cancellation through an associated Grammarly account applies across all other applications in the Superhuman suite. Decide which people and workflows still need those applications before confirming.
For a company-managed or negotiated plan, confirm who owns the purchase and which agreement governs it. These self-service instructions are not a promise that every enterprise agreement can end immediately.

For a direct subscription, use the paid account’s billing controls. Read the date and affected products before the final confirmation.
- Open the account. Sign in and select Account in the left sidebar.
- Find the subscription. Choose Your account → Subscription. Select Cancel Subscription at the bottom.
- Complete the flow. Select Continue, choose a cancellation reason and select Cancel Subscription again.
- Save the result. Keep the account status or confirmation with the invoice and the date paid access ends.
Find the biller before trying another account.
If the cancellation button is missing, Grammarly first recommends checking that you are in the correct paid account. If you cannot access that account, contact its support team rather than deleting an unrelated profile.
For an App Store purchase, use Apple’s subscription cancellation process. Grammarly also says a mobile user can access the account website; removing a browser extension or app is not the subscription-management route.

Grammarly says cancellation stops automatic renewal while paid features remain for the duration of the current period. Do not assume that turning off renewal refunds the payment already made.
If you are disputing a recent charge, keep the invoice, account email, renewal notice and cancellation date together. Ask support to apply its refund policy to that specific purchase. Keep a written decision instead of treating a support request as an approved refund.
