Canceling the meeting app isn’t the same as stopping the bill. Find who bills you, turn off the next renewal and keep the confirmation.

For a plan bought directly online, sign in to the Zoom web portal with billing permissions. Open Plans and Billing, find your current plan and choose Cancel Plan. Confirm the cancellation and check the effective date. App-store and sales purchases may need a different route.

Start with whoever sends the bill.
Match the charge to your Zoom account and purchase channel. The web portal is the starting point for an online purchase from Zoom. For an Apple or Google subscription, use the store’s subscription settings. A sales agreement may need your account executive or Zoom support.
Before you change anything, write down the renewal date, plan and add-ons. Decide what you still need, including recordings and other people’s access.

Use the Zoom web portal as the owner or a user with the required billing permissions. The billing menu can differ between accounts.
- Find your plan. Open Plans and Billing, then Current Plans or Plan Management.
- Review add-ons. Cancel associated add-ons before canceling the base plan when Zoom requires it.
- Confirm the cancellation. Select Cancel Plan and complete the prompts. Check when the change takes effect.
- Save the confirmation. Keep the email and check the plan’s cancellation status.
A canceled renewal can leave time on the plan.
Zoom generally ends the paid subscription at the next renewal, with access through the paid term. Cancellation is not an automatic refund. Check your account’s terms and any separate refund request before counting money as recovered.
Download needed cloud recordings before paid access ends. Zoom’s guidance describes a 30-day period after the paid subscription ends before cloud recordings are permanently deleted.

Check both billing permissions and purchase channel. For a sales agreement or a disabled cancellation option, contact the account executive or Zoom support. Ask for the effective date in writing.

Make sure the cancellation reaches the bill.
Compare any later charge with the confirmation, renewal date and add-ons. Check for a second account or store subscription. If something doesn’t match, ask billing to explain the specific charge and review a correction or refund. Keep the confirmation and response together.

Will canceling refund the current term?
Do not assume so. Check the refund rules for your purchase and ask Zoom to review eligibility separately. Turning off renewal and receiving a refund are different outcomes.
What about a subscription bought on my phone?
Check whether Apple or Google handles the billing. If so, use that store’s cancellation process.
Can I just remove Zoom from my computer?
Complete the billing provider’s cancellation process and keep confirmation. Removing the app is not proof that renewal is off.
