List the paid Toolkits, add-ons and apps on the invoice. Decide whether your business needs to stop everything or only a specific charge. Keep any signed agreement with the account record; Semrush’s standard online policy does not replace individually negotiated terms.

Review records before ending access. Semrush says paid Website Monitoring projects become locked after cancellation, with a 30-day data grace period tied to restoring the paid SEO Toolkit. Beyond that period, free-plan limits apply and only the oldest project’s monitoring data is retained. Have the account owner preserve permitted reports your business needs before relying on future access.

The form is the first step, not the final proof.

Use the account associated with the purchase. The sequence below covers the published online Toolkit route; keep the chosen scope and renewal date in your own cancellation record.

1. Submit the correct form. Sign in and open Semrush’s Cancellation Form. Answer every question and choose the intended Toolkit. Legacy Pro, Guru and Business plans use SEO Toolkit; All Semrush subscriptions ends the entire paid subscription, including add-ons and apps.
2. Confirm the email within 24 hours. Open the cancellation confirmation email and click its confirmation link before it expires. Check spam or junk if it is missing. Without that step, Semrush says the request is not processed and billing continues.
3. Keep the processed confirmation. Email verification creates a support case. Keep the later email confirming cancellation is complete; do not treat the first email as proof of completion.
4. Check recurring status. In Subscription Info, confirm Recurring: Inactive for the subscription. If it is still active, contact support with the request and confirmation dates.

Use the route for the charge you want to stop.

For several Toolkits without closing everything, Semrush instructs customers to submit a separate cancellation form for each Toolkit. Additional limits or add-ons use the Support Contact Form. App subscriptions use My Apps → Settings and the relevant cancellation control; some apps direct you to the App Center team.

Review the scope before accepting any offer to change plans. Semrush warns that active extras carry into an upgrade, so request removal and wait for confirmation first if you do not want to keep paying for them.

Canceling does not erase the current commitment.

Semrush’s online policy applies to direct credit-card purchases on Semrush.com. Cancellation takes effect at the committed term’s end; it does not release binding payment obligations. For unpaid trials or free subscriptions, the policy describes processing within three business days after a properly submitted request. Start before the trial ends rather than relying on same-day processing.

The one-time seven-day refund policy is limited to eligible initial commitments of at least 12 months or initial incremental add-on purchases. A written request is required within seven calendar days. Month-to-month subscriptions and renewals do not qualify for that standard guarantee; signed agreements use their negotiated terms.

If eligible, explicitly request the refund in the cancellation form’s additional comments, or use the Support Contact Form. Toolkits are standalone subscriptions, not refund-policy add-ons. An approved refund is processed to the original payment method within the stated 30-day period after the written request and required information; verify the result rather than treating the request as money returned.

Please confirm cancellation of [Toolkit or subscription] for account [email]. I submitted the form on [date] and confirmed the email link on [date]. Please confirm the final service date and recurring status. I also request review of refund eligibility for purchase [reference] dated [date]; please confirm the decision and amount separately.

Match the bill to the confirmed scope and dates.

Keep the original invoice, selected Toolkits, submission time, email-verification time and processed confirmation together. If another charge appears, compare its account, service period and product with what you canceled. Ask support to review any mismatch.

For a refund, keep the decision and check the Payments status in Subscription Info, then verify the money returned through the original payment route. Do not send a full card number in a billing request.
