How do I cancel a
Mindbody business account?

Mindbody’s terms start with a 90-day term that renews every 30 days, ask for 30 days’ notice before a term ends, and want that notice by registered mail or courier. Huck finds your Mindbody invoices in Gmail, works out the date and drafts the letter when you say yes.

The short answer

To cancel a Mindbody business account, give Mindbody at least 30 days’ notice before the end of your current term. Mindbody’s Terms of Service, last updated March 20, 2026, set an initial term of 90 days that renews in 30-day periods, say notices to Mindbody must go by first class registered U.S. mail or overnight courier, and say you owe the fees for your entire Subscription Term if you end early. Mindbody’s own guide to cancellations says to also tell Mindbody Support by phone or online and that nothing is final until Mindbody approves it. Check your Order Form first: it controls over the general terms.

Mail the notice 30 days before your term ends.

Section 8.1 of Mindbody’s Terms of Service lets either side end the agreement with at least 30 days’ notice before the end of the relevant term. Section 14.8 says notices to Mindbody must go by first class registered U.S. mail or overnight courier, addressed to Mindbody Customer Support at MINDBODY, Inc., 689 Tank Farm Road, Suite 230, San Luis Obispo, CA 93401, with a copy addressed to the Legal Department at the same address.

Mindbody’s published cancellation guide says to submit the request through Mindbody Support, by phone or online, and that cancellation is not final until Mindbody’s internal teams review and approve it. Do both.

  1. Find your term end date. Check your Order Form and your latest Mindbody invoice.
  2. Count back 30 days. That is the last day your notice can arrive. Mail early.
  3. Write the notice. Name the business, the account or site ID and the date the term ends.
  4. Send it by registered mail or overnight courier. Address one copy to Customer Support and one to the Legal Department at the address in section 14.8. Keep the receipt.
  5. Tell Mindbody Support too. Submit the cancellation request by phone or online through Mindbody Support and ask for written confirmation of the end date.
  6. Export your data before the end date. Your data stays available through your final billing date.
To Mindbody Customer Support: this is written notice of non-renewal under section 8.1 of the Mindbody Terms of Service for [business name], account or site ID [ID]. Please do not renew our subscription when the current term ends on [date]. Please confirm the end date in writing and that no further term will be billed.

Early exitSubscriptions are non-terminable before the Initial Subscription Term ends, and you owe fees for the entire Subscription Term (sections 4.1.1 and 8.1).
RefundsAll fees paid are non-refundable (section 4.1.1).
DataAvailable through your final billing date. A paid export service is offered for up to 30 days after cancellation; after the 30-day window Mindbody has no obligation to provide it (section 8.3).

Mindbody fees are non-refundable and a stated term is owed in full.

Section 4.1.1 says all fees paid are non-refundable and that subscriptions can’t be ended by you before the Initial Subscription Term expires. Ending early leaves you responsible for the fees for the entire Subscription Term. Mindbody’s guide says billing stops at the end of your contract term.

So the saving is in the timing: notice 30 days before the term ends stops the next 30-day period from starting.

Your schedule, memberships and client data go with the site.

When the site is deactivated you can no longer open the data stored in it. Mindbody says exports can include client contacts, purchase history, memberships, visit records, sales reports and staff data, usually as CSV files, and that large exports can be ordered through a paid service for up to 30 days after cancellation.

Section 8.3 says a data export after termination needs a request within 30 days, payment of everything you owe and an agreed statement of work. Move your booking page, class links and membership billing before the end date.

Huck finds the notice date and drafts the letter on your yes.

Huck finds Mindbody invoices and renewal emails in your Gmail, works out when your term ends and texts you before the 30-day notice date, so the account doesn’t roll into another period.

With your yes, Huck drafts the notice for you to send by registered mail or courier, and checks later statements for a charge after the end date. You send the mail and handle any call to Mindbody Support. Mindbody decides any refund; Huck does not promise one.
