Buildium?
Buildium’s help center says to cancel in Settings > Account and billing, and its terms say licenses auto-renew unless notice is given at least 30 days before the term ends, with no refund for a partial month or year. Huck finds your Buildium invoices in Gmail and texts the date to cancel by.

To cancel Buildium, go to Settings > Account and billing, click Manage subscription > Cancel subscription, fill out the short questionnaire and click Cancel my subscription. Buildium’s Terms of Use, updated October 5, 2026, say a license renews automatically for the same monthly or annual term unless written notice of termination is given at least 30 days before the end of the current term. The terms say fees are paid in advance and non-refundable, with no credit for a partial month or year, and an annual term cancelled early is not refunded. The help article says you keep access through the current subscription period.

Cancel in Settings, at least 30 days before the term ends.
Buildium’s help article says you must start cancellation inside your account. Section 4(a) of the Terms of Use sets the timing: written notice at least 30 days before the end of the current term stops the automatic renewal. Section 25 says formal legal notices must be in writing, delivered in person or by commercial overnight carrier; the help article describes only the in-account route, so if the date is close, ask Buildium support in writing what it counts as notice.
- Sign in as the account owner and go to Settings > Account and billing. This is the page where the help article starts.
- Click Manage subscription > Cancel subscription. The Cancel Account pop-up window appears.
- Fill out the short questionnaire. The help article says the answers help Buildium analyze customer satisfaction.
- Click Cancel my subscription to submit the request. A canceled subscription shows a red banner at the top of the screen.
- Check your access end date. You keep access through your current subscription period. On a monthly plan, that is the end of the month.
- Changed your mind? Click Do not cancel my subscription instead of submitting.

Your property records, and the rest of a paid term, end with the license.
When the subscription period ends, so does the license to the services you use for your properties, and the terms say Buildium may delete Owner Data after that. The terms describe no general export, so pull the reports and records you need from your account while you still have access.
On an annual term you have committed to the full year, and cancelling early gives no refund of the months left. Promotional credits under Buildium Rewards are forfeited when the license term ends, according to section 21 of the terms.
